1. Antara hikmah diharamkan berpuasa sepetti yang disebut dalam hadith di atas ialah ketika semua orang bergembira, seseorang itu hendaklah perlu turut bersama meraikannya.2. Selain pada hari raya, kita juga diharamkan berpuasa pada hari-hari Tasyrik iaitu 11, 12, dan 13 Zulhijjah.
