Daripada telefon 999, dia suruh kita telefon terus IPD, kerana IPD akan mengarahkan terus unit peronda ke tempat kejadian. Kalau kita memandu dari Perlis sampai Johor, takkan nak ingat atau nak simpan semua nombor telefon IPD sepanjang perjalanan. Apa punya sistem 999 kat Malaysia ni, dah bertahun-tahun tak boleh setaraf sistem 911 Amerika Syarikat, salah PDRM atau salah syarikat yang dapat tender pasang sistem 999?

The Star : As for safety activist and expert Captain K. Bala, violent crimes are a behavioural approach.
With almost two decades of experience in conducting safety courses, Bala's top personal safety tip is to know the number of your district police headquarters (IPD).
"Instead of calling the 999 hotline, contact the police directly as the IPD can summon patrol cars to the site of the report," he said.
